Volunteer Vacancy (part-time, flexible working hours, some evenings) Creative Kids are currently looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to work in our lively Boscombe office and assist with the production and coordination of our community arts events.
The events coordinator will work closely with our projects manager to create, plan and deliver the Creative Kids events program for 2011. The right candidate will be highly organised with a background in the arts and a desire to work with children and young people.
This is a voluntary position however there is opportunity for freelance work within the role. A full job description is available upon request please email - creativekids@live.co.uk along with your recent CV.
Creative Kids offer work experience placements to students studying a degree course in Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset. Previously we have taken on volunteer students from the BA (Hons) Arts and Events Management course at AUCB. Due to its success we would be delighted to offer one work placement per year to students.
Creative Kids are involved in a wide range of arts events in Dorset. We are always looking for that extra pair of hands on site to help with the get-in, running of and get-out of events! If you are interested in joining our ‘festival team’ please email your CV to us and tell us why you would like to get involved.
If we think you have got what it takes, we will then arrange an interview, run CRB checks and add you to our ‘vetted volunteer bank’. You will be notified 6 weeks prior to an event via email and be asked if you are free to volunteer. At Creative Kids we look after our volunteer family. You will be fed and watered and get a spanking reference if you work hard!
